The Peroulades Beach is a noteworthy presence in the northwestern side of Corfu. Despite its rather small size, it is one of the most splendid stretches of sand on the island. Moreover, it is located at the end of a steep path, but the travel is, undoubtedly, worth making, since the scenery is more than rewarding. The presence of numerous lounge chairs and umbrellas, as well as the contribution of several sleeping and eating venues go without saying.
Located only 30 minutes southwards from Corfu Town, the lovely beach of Glyfada (Glifada) is deemed one of the finest and longest of all beaches in Corfu.
Given that blue flagged beaches are the closest thing to the idea of label of Corfu, there is no surprise to find out that the Ipsos (Ypsos) Beach has obtained the same statute.
Corfu boasts yet another extremely valuable museum, namely, the Ionian Bank Museum of Banknotes. Exhibits oldest banknote in the world issued in China in 1300 AD
