The Kondokali Beach is another sunbathing venue awarded the blue flag. It is, again, located in the eastern side of Corfu, only 6 kilometers from Corfu Town. Despite its proximity to the capital of the island, the beach is surrounded by a countryside landscape, the nearby coniferous and eucalyptus woods contributing heavily to the wonderful experience visitors can have here. Accommodation is offered by villas and hotels which complement the general elegant dash of the beach. Other establishments refer to eating and drinking venues – pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and fish taverns – as well as to facilities enabling waters sports activities. Mountain biking is an appealing alternative to sunbathing, and bikes for rent are available at the Kondokali Bay Hotel.
The neighboring Roda Beach pertains to the homonymous seaside resort which undergoes and increasing popularity with tourists visiting Corfu.
The Molos Beach looks a lot like the Kavos Beach, featuring shallow waters and a sandy texture.
The Kapodistrias Museum complements the picture of museums and galleries Corfu is replete with. Dedicated to Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first governor of Greece
